Turkish Airlines confirm that its flight Number TK 1951 from Istanbul to Amsterdam the capital of The Netherlands was involved in an accident today near the Amsterdam Airport. The aircraft, a B737-800 was during the landing when the accident occurred, at around 11:30 a.m. local time.
