New courses at the Air Berlin Flightschool for 2010
The aviation school of Air Berlin, the second largest German airline, will again be offering courses for pilots in 2010. Anyone interested can apply now. The courses start on 22nd February 2010 and 28th June 2010. Another two courses are planned in both 2011 and 2012, but the start dates have not yet been announced. The number of students on each course is limited to 15.

The training requirements to become a commercial pilot include medical fitness for flying duties, as well as ‘A’ level equivalents, a very good knowledge of German and English, a class B driving licence and an unrestricted passport. Applicants should be at least 19 years old and under the age of 37 when the course starts.

The complex selection procedure for ab initio pilot training takes two days and is carried out by Interpersonal, a company based in Hamburg.

For further information about applications, the selection procedure and the curriculum please check online at www.airberlin-flightschool.com. Applications for pilot training may only be submitted using the online form and may be completed any time.
