This is the fifth time in succession that Air Berlin is the "golden sponsor" at the BAMBI awards, which take place in Potsdam on Thursday. Original Sansibar Curry Sausage will was served in the Air Berlin Lounge at the "Night of the Stars".

Air Berlin is also a sponsor of TRIBUTE TO BAMBI 2009. The airline is selling a limited edition of the red heart available as a farewell at the end Air Berlin flights and the entire proceeds from the sale will be donated to the TRIBUTE TO BAMBI Foundation.

This charity supports a number of projects in Germany helping children in need. Five golden hearts with three different messages of love are packaged in a small bag made of beige organza. The hearts are on sale at 5 euros and are available on board certain routes operated by Air Berlin, online HERE and in selected shops in Germany.
